Officials give travel tips for Nebraska volleyball’s match in Memorial Stadium
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Transportation officials are asking Husker fans to drive safely to Volleyball Day in Nebraska on Wednesday.
In a press release Monday, the Nebraska Department of Transportation said travelers can expect increased traffic in and around Lincoln.
Nebraska volleyball will be playing UNO in front of a sold-out Memorial Stadium.
Officials said visitors should avoid the Interstate 80 exits at I-180, which get congested before Husker football games.

Drivers should also steer clear of exit 409 before and after the match, according to NDOT.
Instead, officials recommend taking exit 397 to Rosa Parks Way into downtown Lincoln.
To access the Haymarket and Railyard, officials said fans should use N Street, as P, Q and R streets will be shut down.
There are several road construction projects in and around downtown. More information on those closures can be found on the city’s website.
Husker fans can also check Nebraska 511 for real-time traffic information before leaving for the game.
