Omaha Airport reveals preview of new terminal
OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) — The Omaha Eppley Airfield (OMA) has given a sneak peak of the new terminal.
Along with the sneak peak, Omaha Airport Authority is opening a new phase of the Build OMA Terminal Modernization Program on Nov. 4.
“This is an exciting milestone for OMA and the thousands of people who have been working to bring the new terminal to life,” Dave Roth, CEO of the Omaha Airport Authority, said. “For the first time, passengers will be able to experience some of the new spaces and amenities we’ve been working toward with Build OMA. While there is still significant work ahead, this upcoming opening represents an important first step in transforming the passenger experience at OMA.”
Flyers will begin to use a portion of the new concourse on Nov. 4.
The modernization of the terminal includes updated seating, multiple charging stations and larger restrooms, including mother’s and family restrooms.
As the construction continues, the Omaha Airport Authority will preview new portions of the projects to passengers.
