Omaha authorities searching for driver who hit pedestrian at UNMC

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities are on the lookout for a car that crashed into a pedestrian Wednesday at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
The university’s department of public safety said it needs help identifying and finding the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
Officials say the car hit a pedestrian near 42nd Street and Dewey Avenue and drove off around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The vehicle, which has damage to its fender, is a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo with in-transit plates.
