Omaha man convicted of murder

An Omaha man is found guilty of first-degree murder.
19-year-old Milton Dortch shot and killed the owner of JR's Jewelry, James Minshall Sr., in Omaha during a robbery last September.
Minshall was shot three times.
Dortch claims he fired because he thought Minshall was reaching for a gun. He testified during his trial that he never intended to shoot his gun or kill anyone.
The conviction carries a life in prison sentence.
