Omaha Police arrest three after man beaten, shot at on Memorial Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Omaha Police made three arrests after a man was beaten and shot at Monday morning.

Police said a 17-year-old male was booked at the Douglas County Youth Center on suspicion of multiple charges.

Those charges include two counts of terroristic threats, three counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and felony assault.

Tre’Vel Caldwell, 23, and Christopher Springer, 20, were also arrested on suspicion of robbery.

On Monday, officers responded to a neighborhood near 90th and Maple Streets on report of a shooting.

A 25-year-old man had already arrived at a hospital and later told police he’d been assaulted and shot at by three men.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
