Omaha police responding to a barricade situation

Omaha Police have responded to a barricade situation near 140th and Pine Street.

This is a developing situation, and we will keep you updated as we learn more information.

10:30 Update – One person has been placed in handcuffs and put in a police vehicle. Police have removed their body armor and will hold a press conference shortly.

The man taken into custody has been identified as Matthew Hammers.

Hammers was wanted for possession of a stolen firearm from Lancaster County.
