OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) — Omaha has been set as one of the three American cities to host the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Women’s Volleyball World Cup.

The games will be held at CHI Health Center, home of the Omaha Supernovas.

“Omaha’s selection to host the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup is an exciting recognition of this city’s passion for volleyball and its place as a premier destination in the world for the sport,” Omaha Supernovas Co-Owner Kirk Thompson said. “We can’t wait to welcome the world’s best players to CHI Health Center, the home of the Supernovas. NovasNation makes our home one of the most electric environments in volleyball, and we’re excited to help bring that same energy to the international stage.”

The Women’s Volleyball World Cup begins Aug. 20 through Sept. 5 2027.
