Omaha shooting suspect arrested in Council Bluffs hotel

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a Wednesday shooting in Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department says 27-year-old Kyser Clark was arrested in a Council Bluffs hotel.

Clark was lodged in the Pottawattamie County Jail, and charges in the shooting are pending.

Council Bluffs Police assisted in the arrest.

On Wednesday, police were called to a convenience store on 24th and Leavenworth Streets on a report of a shooting.

Inside, officers found 33-year-old Darontae Orduna with a gunshot wound. Orduna was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
