Omaha Supernovas win inaugural PVF championship
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Omaha Supernovas are the first ever Pro Volleyball Federation champions after sweeping Grand Rapids 3-0.
The Supernovas took down the Rise 25-13, 26-24, 25-22 to take home the crown on their home court at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.
To sweeten the deal, players on the Supernovas will take home a $1 million player bonus.
Next year, the Pro Volleyball federation will expand to 10 teams as Dallas, Indianapolis, and Kansas City will play their inaugural seasons.
