LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An annual outdoor music festival in Omaha will be silent in 2024.

Maha Festival announced Thursday that this year’s event would be canceled due to “industry-wide” cost increases.

The event was scheduled for July 26 and 27 at Heartland of America Park.

Officials said the festival will return “stronger, more joyful, and more united” in 2025.  Fans are asked to “stay tuned” for updates.

Last year’s festival included acts like Turnstile, Big Thief and Alvvays.
