One arrested, two hospitalized in rollover crash in central Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were hospitalized Saturday night after a rollover crash in central Lincoln.
Around 10:30 p.m., first responders were sent to 27th and O streets on the report of a crash.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, a red Chevy Silverado — driven by 30-year-old Nicholas Jones — was driving east on O Street from 27th.
LPD said Jones was driving in a reckless manner, spinning the vehicle’s tires and swerving back-and-forth.
Jones lost control of the pickup, struck the median causing it to roll on its side, and collided with a westbound Ford Mustang.
The driver of the Mustang was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the Silverado was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Jones was arrested for felony DUI causing serious bodily injury.
According to LPD, Jones agreed to a breath test and had a BAC of 0.122.
A section of O Street was closed during the investigation, but has since been reopened.
