One dead after house fire near Tecumseh
Officials said one person has died after a fire at a home near Tecumseh.
The Tecumseh Fire Department responded to the fire in Vesta around 5:18 a.m. Sunday.
One person, believed to be the occupant of the home, died.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
No other injuries were reported.
The structure is a total loss.
The Nebraska State Fire Marshal’s Office is still investigating the fire.
An autopsy has been ordered by the Johnson County Attorney.
