One dead after overnight shooting near Westroads Mall

Authorities were called to the area after 11 p.m. Sunday night.

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) – One is dead, and one is injured following a shooting near Westroads Mall in Omaha Sunday night.

Omaha Police were called to 99th and Nicholas St after 11 p.m. to reports of a shooting that had occurred in the area.

Authorities discovered one dead at the scene, and another victim in critical condition that was taken to a local hospital for their injuries.

Omaha police are still searching the area for any suspects.
