One hospitalized after crash with tree in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person was taken to a hospital Monday after crashing into a tree in Lincoln, police say.

The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. at Plymouth Avenue and Bradfield Drive, which is near 27th and South streets.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene saw a pickup up against a large tree.

The Lincoln Police Department said no other vehicles were involved.

Police think the driver may have suffered a medical emergency before the crash.

The driver was taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
