One hospitalized following two-vehicle crash in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person was hospitalized Friday after a two-vehicle crash in east Lincoln.
Just after 4:30 p.m., Lincoln Fire & Rescue and the Lincoln Police Department were sent to the intersection of 56th and M streets.
According to LPD, one person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
LPD is still working to determine the cause of the crash.
According to a Channel 8 reporter on scene, both cars ended up on the sidewalks on either side of 56th Street.
56th Street from O Street to Lenox Avenue is closed while LPD investigates the crash.
