Three arrested after standoff near downtown Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were arrested Wednesday after a standoff at an apartment near downtown Lincoln.

Around 12:30 p.m., the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office went to the apartment near Eighth and G streets with a search warrant.

Deputies said they saw 37-year-old Jermaine Graham of Omaha, who was wanted in Douglas County on suspicion of terroristic threats, inside the apartment.

Investigators asked him and the others in the apartment to come out, according to the sheriff’s office, but they barricaded themselves inside.

Law enforcement eventually entered the unit and took Graham into custody.

They also arrested 33-year-old Bryant Bruce and 46-year-old Stephanie Patak, both of Lincoln, on outstanding warrants.

The standoff lasted about 2½ hours, according to a Channel 8 reporter at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Bruce was wanted after failing to appear in court on a drug charge, according to court documents.

Patak didn’t report for house arrest on Tuesday, court records say.
