One injured after vehicle crashes into Lincoln apartment building

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was taken to a hospital Monday after a vehicle crashed into an apartment building in Lincoln, officials say.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. at an apartment building near 26th and Q Streets.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg said there is a “fair amount” of damage to the building.

One person was taken to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, Gegg said.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
