One killed in head-on crash west of Omaha

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed Wednesday morning in a head-on crash west of Omaha.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 9 a.m. near the intersection of 264th Street and West Center Road.
A Jeep was heading east on West Center Road when it crossed the center line and struck a Chevy Impala.
The sheriff’s office said the Jeep rolled and ejected the driver, who was later flown to an Omaha hospital.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The driver of the Chevy was pinned inside the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing.
