UPDATE: Identity released of man killed at Costco hatchery Thursday

UPDATE: Authorities have released the identity of a man killed and another injured at a Costco hatchery near Fremont Thursday.
Fremont Police said Melvin Balaban 56, of Crete was killed and Caleb Sabatka, 26, of Beatrice was critically injured.

(KMTV) — An incident this morning at the Costco hatchery has led to the death of one person, and another injured.
Fremont fire and rescue was called to the plant around 9:30 this morning. A medical helicopter transported the injured worker to Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha.
Authorities say the accident involved a fall from a scissor lift. The victim, a 56-year-old male, fell approximately 40 feet from a basket.
The incident is currently being investigated by OSHA. The investigation is ongoing.
