One person injured in 2 vehicle crash

Lancaster County Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on West O this evening around 8:45. It was in Emerald, west of Lincoln. 

Two pickups collided near the intersection. A 50-year-old man was thrown from his pickup and was found lying on the highway. At first, Star Care was put on standby, but officials took the man by ambulance to a local hospital. 

He is expected to survive. 

The other driver of the pickup was not seriously injured. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
