One person arrested after early morning stabbing

UPDATE: According to Lincoln Police, the victim of an early morning stabbing at an apartment building near 17 & E suffered non life-threatening injuries.
Lincoln Police say an arrest has been made in stabbing in southwest Lincoln.
32-year-old Mehdi Darvishi was arrested on charges of first degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The victim is in serious condition at a local hospital.
LPD says the incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday outside of a building near 17th and E.
Lincoln Police are investigating an early morning stabbing, that left one man with a stab wound to the chest and another in police custody.
It happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday near 17th and E St.,
LPD said, the suspect had two knives and was standing outside an apartment complex when the victim came out and was stabbed.
The victim was taken to the hospital, but the severity of his injuries have not been disclosed at this time.
Neither the victim or suspect have been identified at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
