One pronounced dead after motorcycle crash, Lincoln Police say

The crash happened around 4:57 p.m., according to Lincoln Police.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash Tuesday near 70th Street and Old Cheney Road.

Lincoln Police say the crash happened around 4:57 p.m.

The driver lost control while heading north on 70th when he hit a curb and then hit a fence, according to Lincoln Police.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another motorcyclist was involved in the crash and was sent to a local hospital with minor injuries.

A portion of 70th Street will be closed for a couple of hours, Lincoln Police say.
