One taken to hospital after car hits home

Lincoln police department along with Lincoln fire and rescue were called to the scene of a car crash late Saturday night.

The crash happened near Pawnee and 44th streets.

A vehicle struck multiple parked cars and mailboxes before crashing into a fence. 

The driver was taken to a local area hospital with minor injuries and is expected to be alright. 

Officials are still investigating the crash and will provide updates as they become available.
