Over 17 pounds of fentanyl seized in Seward County traffic stop, sheriff’s office says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Seward County deputies found several pounds of fentanyl, cocaine and meth in a traffic stop on Monday, the sheriff’s office says.

Howard D. Howard, 56, of Omaha, was arrested on suspicion of four felony drug charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Seward County.

The sheriff’s office said deputies found 17.6 pounds of fentanyl, 13.2 pounds of cocaine and 4.4 pounds of meth.

Deputies also discovered a loaded .38 caliber revolver, according to the sheriff’s office.

Howard was lodged in the Seward County Detention Center.
