Over $7,000 in tools stolen from Lincoln construction site, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Investigators are looking into a theft that was reported at a Lincoln construction site on Tuesday.
Around 7:50 a.m., an employee arrived at the site near 22nd and P streets and found that a lock to a storage container had been broken.
The storage container also had $400 in damage.
Police said $7,371 in tools were taken from the storage box and the building that was under construction.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
