Over $8,500 in tools stolen from cargo trailer in north Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Thousands of dollars in tools were stolen overnight from a cargo trailer in north Lincoln, police say.

Around 12:50 p.m. Monday, a 31-year-old man called police after he realized the padlock on his cargo trailer had been cut.

Several tools were also missing from the trailer, which was parked near North 57th Street and Russell Drive.

Police said those tools are worth around $8,700.
