Over a dozen doorbell cameras damaged by burglar at Nebraska apartments

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man is accused of damaging more than a dozen Ring doorbell cameras, before trying to fight off officers on Sunday.
The Grand Island Police Department says they were called to the Blackstone Apartments on South Walnut Street, just before midnight.
We’re told Kon Kot was standing around broken glass in addition to the cameras when they arrived.
Officers tried to search the 65-year-old, but he kept dragging his feet and turning around.
Kot was eventually taken into custody and charged with burglary as well as resisting arrest.
Police say he ripped down 15 cameras and also stuffed 10 of them inside his coat’s pockets.
It was determined Kot is not a resident at the property.
