Overturned semi shuts down part of I-80 in Omaha area for several hours
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An overturned semitrailer on Interstate 80 caused rush-hour delays Tuesday in the Omaha area.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on westbound I-80 near Highway 50, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Traffic was backed up, and officials asked drivers to take alternative routes. It is unknown what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
Officials said I-80 was reopened around 10:20 a.m.
