Owner speaks out after tip jar is stolen twice from Lincoln restaurant
After a local restaurant posted to Facebook asking tip jar stealer to just ask for help instead, customers have been pouring out support for Chopsticks Chinese Cuisine.

LINCOLN, Neb., (KLKN) — After a local restaurant posted to Facebook asking tip jar stealer to just ask for help instead, customers have been pouring out support for Chopsticks.
“If you’re hungry, we feed you,” said Maggie Lin, Chopsticks Chinese Cuisine. ” If you need help, we’ll help you, but just do not please do not you know steal our tip jar because we work hard for the money. So people say, oh, I’m so sorry for this is, it’s not, you know, especially for you guys, not supposed to happen.”
Owner Maggie Lin says the restaurant has been hit twice, this Tuesday and last Tuesday by a man, running in and taking their tip jar. The owner says support from her customers and the community has been amazing as she has had people ask to give the business money.
“I want to say thank you to our community, you know, like great support,” said Lin. “We know how strong we are and we know how strong the community are. You know, everybody is just so nice. We just, we can do a lot for back in the community we just, you know, everything is appreciated from the bottom of our heart.”
