Papio La Vista grad Jordy Bahl hints at return to home state

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Jordy Bahl, a graduate of Papillion La Vista and former Oklahoma pitcher, announced on Twitter on Monday afternoon she plans to “return home.”
The former Monarch recorded three state championships during her high school career as well as a perfect 27-0 record and 0.10 ERA.
Bahl spent the last two seasons at Oklahoma, where she went 44-2 on the mound and won back-to-back national championships.
Just days after Bahl was named the Women’s College World Series most outstanding player, she announced on Twitter she would be entering the transfer portal.
“I am excited to return home and be Jordyn Bahl the softball player, but more importantly the person.” Bahl wrote. “I am excited thinking about growing the game that has provided me so many opportunities for growth, in the home state, a current overlooked state for girls softball of all ages, and I am excited to finish the softball journey right where it began.”
Bahl has yet to announce what school she will be attending.
