Parks & Rec: Two preschool programs are open for registration

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Friday, Lincoln Parks and Recreation announced registration is now open for preschool programs that begin in September. A 50 dollar non-refundable registration fee is required and space is limited. So far, two programs are offered: Little Sprouts Preschool and Nature Center Preschool.
Little Sprouts will be held at the Calvert Recreation Center, 4500 Stockwell Street, targeted for ages three to five. It includes music, art, and games to support learning and development. Here’s a list of the available schedules:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fee is $69 per month.
- Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fee is $97 per month.
- Monday through Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Fee is $166 per month.

The Nature Center Preschool is located at Pioneers Park Nature Center, 3201 S. Coddington Ave. It’s for ages four to five and teaches colors, shapes, sizes, counting, and spatial awareness through racial exploration. Here’s the available schedules:
- Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to11:30 a.m. Fee is $150 per month.
- Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Fee is $120 per month.
