Part of 140th Street to close due to bridge work near Lancaster County lake

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Upcoming bridge work is set to detour travelers heading to Branched Oak Lake next week, the state said Tuesday.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission said work will begin on a bridge on Northwest 140th Street, just south of West Branched Oak Road, on July 28.
The project will close Northwest 140th Street between West Branched Oak and West Raymond Road.
Nebraska Game and Parks will set up detour signs during the project.
Once the first project is done, another ridge located on West Rock Creek Road between Northwest 140th and 126th streets will be repaired.
The projects are expected to be finished by September.
