Part of 48th Street in Lincoln closes for water main repairs
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A part of 48th Street is closing Thursday for water main repairs, the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department says.
The water main repair will close 48th Street between Sumner and South streets until July 18.
A user on the NOW Local News App shared a video of crews working on the water main repair in the area.
The city recommends drivers take A Street to 56th Street to South Street as a detour.
People can still access homes in the area via South Street.
StarTran Route 53-SouthPointe is also being detoured during the road work.
