Part of Holdrege Street Scheduled to Close Beginning June 30
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The City of Lincoln and the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) announced that eastbound Holdrege Street will close beginning Tuesday, June 30 for servicing to water mains. The work will last through Wednesday, July 8.
The StarTran Route 42-Bethany will also be affected by the work done and will be detoured during this allotted time.
The city recommends travelers to seek an alternate route. The suggested detour for Holdrege Street is 48th Street to Vine Street. Residents can also find updated route information by calling StarTran or visiting Lincoln’s transit website.
The city says that access to local homes and businesses in this area will be maintained.
LTU encourages appreciation for the public’s patience during this work and reminds residents that the project start dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
