Part of Lincoln’s Rock Island Trail to temporarily close for repairs

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A portion of the Rock Island Trail in Lincoln will be closed for repairs this week, officials say.
The trail between A Street and the Garfield Street bridge will close on Tuesday. It will reopen Friday.
City officials said trail users should use the sidewalks along Garfield, 28th and A streets as a detour.
