Part of man’s finger nearly bitten off during knife attack, Nebraska police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man says he nearly lost part of his right index finger when it was bit during a knife attack on Monday.
That’s according to the Grand Island Police Department, which says this happened near South Lincoln Avenue and Delta Street just after 8 p.m.
Adbulrahman Mahmood is also accused of biting the 41-year-old victim’s side and leaving him with a knife wound along his right eyebrow.
Witnesses say Mahmood threatened to kill the victim as well, while trying to stab him multiple times.
He drove off before officers arrived, but they were able to find him and the weapon.
Mahmood was arrested and is facing several charges, including assault, terroristic threats and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
