Structure fire temporarily shuts down O Street west of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A part of O Street west of Lincoln was shut down Friday as rural fire departments battled a structure fire.

Around 10:30 a.m., several rural fire crews were sent to the structure near Southwest 63rd and O streets.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the fire started in a recreational vehicle and spread to an outbuilding and two other RVs.

No one was injured.  The fire caused an estimated $215,000 in damage.

A part of O Street from Southwest 63rd and Southwest 84th streets was closed for several hours.  It has since reopened.

Fire crews from Malcolm, Pleasant Dale and Raymond responded to the structure fire.
