Part of Q Street closed after water main break in downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A water main broke in downtown Lincoln on Tuesday night, flooding part of the street.
It happened at 12th and Q streets, according to Erika Hill, spokeswoman for the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.
A user of the NOW Local News App submitted a video showing water in the street.
One lane of Q Street is closed between 12th and 13 streets. Hill said it’s expected to be shut down for the rest of the week.
LTU crews will work to repair the main overnight, Hill said, then fix the street over the next few days.
