LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A portion of South Street will once again be closed for utility work.

The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department announced the closure Thursday.

The road will be shut down between 40th Street and Normal Boulevard on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The closures will last from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night as Windstream works in the area.

Windstream utility work shut down the same stretch of South Street on Tuesday.

LTU said drivers should take 40th Street to Normal Boulevard instead.
