Pedestrian dies after being hit by vehicle in rural Seward County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pedestrian died Thursday after being hit by a vehicle in rural Seward County, the sheriff’s office says.

The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. near 154th and Pioneers roads, just south of Pleasant Dale.

The sheriff’s office said a pedestrian was walking on the road when they were hit by a vehicle.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was flown to a hospital in Lincoln, where they later died.

An investigation is ongoing.
