Pedestrian dies after crash in west Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pedestrian who was struck by a car on West O Street last week has died.

Lincoln Police said Thursday that Jerry Laue, 27, was declared brain-dead on Monday, then his organs were collected for donation.

Laue was hit by a car around 1 a.m. Saturday when he was crossing West O at Northwest 14th Street.

Police said he was not in the crosswalk.
