Pedestrian hit by vehicle in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are investigating a crash that left one person hospitalized on Wednesday morning.

First responders were called to the scene of South 37th Street and Otoe Street near Lincoln Southeast High School around 7:36 a.m.

A Channel 8 reporter on the scene could see multiple police cruisers responding to the crash.

The Lincoln Police Department said a 75-year-old man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

LPD said speeding was not a factor and it is unknown if the driver will be cited, according to LPD.
