Pedestrian injured after being hit by vehicle in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman was injured Sunday night when she was hit by a vehicle in east Lincoln, police say.

Around 6:30 p.m., a vehicle – driven by an 18-year-old man – hit the woman near 48th Street and Baldwin Avenue.

Police said the woman was not in a crosswalk.  She was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The driver was not cited in the crash.
