Pedestrian killed in north Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man died Friday night after being hit by a vehicle, police say.

About 7:15 p.m., first responders arrived at 27th Street and Old Dairy Road to find a 64-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.

He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

As of 9:30 p.m., debris from the crash had been cleared, and normal traffic resumed.

The Lincoln Police Department is urging anyone with information, including video, to call LPD at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
