Pedestrian killed in west Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash early Tuesday morning in west Lincoln, police say.
The crash happened near Northwest 22nd and West O streets just before 6 a.m.
According to a preliminary investigation, a man in his 50s was crossing O Street when he was hit by a Ford F-150.
Crews with Lincoln Fire & Rescue took the man to a hospital, where he later died.
Drugs, alcohol and speed are not suspected of being factors in the crash at this time, police said.
While the investigation is ongoing, westbound traffic on O Street at Northwest 20th Street is shut down.
Westbound traffic on O Street is also being diverted at Sun Valley Boulevard, according to police.
