People in Lincoln making most out of snow day

“It’s really nice, we love living in Lincoln with the four seasons, it’s great,” Jennifer Bryson said.

A lot of people in Lincoln were out enjoying the snow on Tuesday.

Many families such as they Bryson’s were scooping out their driveway. Each of the kids have their own shovel. Although mom likes the help, they said sledding is their favorite snow activity.

A hot spot for sledding was at Lincoln Southeast High School.

“It’s always nice to have a break, you know always get caught up in homework and everything but it’s nice to take a break every once in awhile and come out here and have fun with my friends,” Philip Weston said.

“It’s really nice, it’s a good thing because I didn’t do my homework last night,” Gary Winchorpe said.

The boys said they were inside most of the day. They wanted to make sure they didn’t miss out on all the snow so they agreed to go sledding later that evening.

Gary says the hill next to Lincoln Southeast High School is the best sledding hill around.
