Person freed from northeast Lincoln grain elevator

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Crews responded Friday afternoon to a person stuck in a grain elevator in northeast Lincoln.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue was called to ADM, an agriculture processing plant, near 73rd Street and North Cotner Boulevard around 1:40 p.m.

LFR spokeswoman MJ Lierman said the person stuck inside the elevator got themselves out.

They were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

All engines have since been placed back into service.
