LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Procter & Gamble Company announced a voluntary recall for their aerosol dry conditioner and shampoo spray products.
The products recalled come from brands including Pantene, Aussie, Herbal Essences and Waterless. P&G made the decision to recall the products due to the presence of benzene in some sprays.
P&G says they have not received any reports of adverse events related to the recall. The FDA classifies benzene as a human carcinogen, which can cause leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow.
