Photogenic tornado seen in Lincoln County from Monday evening’s storms in Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A nearly stationary storm south of North Platte in western Nebraska produced a tornado Monday evening near Dickens.

Hail was measured up to 2.5″ near the Dickens storm as well.

There was another report of a funnel cloud in southwest Nebraska near Parks, but no other tornadoes were reported Monday night.

Lincoln County deputies were able to capture some incredible photos of the tornado as it touched down. One picture looks like a once-in-a-lifetime shot, with a rainbow included!

“We are grateful to report there were no injuries,” the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on Facebook.
