LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Jack Hoffman, the Husker football fan remembered for a 69-yard touchdown run in a spring game, died Wednesday at 19.

He battled brain cancer since he was 5 and captured the state’s attention as he raised awareness of pediatric cancer.
